yes i am rubbish at updating this. however work has been crasy busy so jsut havent had time!! as we all know we want to keep up the blogging but life goes and gets in the damn way, so it'll have to be a brief summary of things which have been fab recently!
1. my friend h came to visit, sadly not able to bring he lovely man along but we had a great girls time, eating good food, staring at a foxy italian's arse (well that was me), shopping, walking and laughing!! h is allergic to cats so had to stay in a b and b, which had a lovely lady running it but the bathroom was in what looked like the wardrobe (behind sliding mirrored doors) so it was like having a wee in a cupboard!! so we kept saying we needed to make use of the wardrobe everywhere we went..well it was funny to us! it was warm OR snowy over the weekend which was made as we rarely get snow here, properley 4 seasons in one day as the song goes. thanks h for such a fab time, for buying me a felt chicken and being quite frankly one of the most amazing and kind and wodnerful and funny people in the world!! and for intorducing me to the pee-mate!!!
2. my friends r and p came to stay and similar chaos ensued! r, h and myself have been friends for about 20 years and plan when we are old (men die first) to all live together in a house, drink too much and be mad. we're already half way there!!! sadly the weather was not good but we were able to go on some visits, have a blowy walk along the beach, visit primarni (more about that another time..) and eat nice pizza at the same italian place i went with h (I DID have another good ogle...) we also watched the football in a testosterone filled pub so p could enjoy man u (boo) draw against blackburn. you want to support a better team p (tho is suppose i cant say that now!!!)
3. stitch and bitch - or denim and venom as my friend t says it should be called - our craft group is meeting often and we are having so much fun!!! girl in winter and annibead are part of this and their blogs are fab so go and look!! despite the overcontributions of one member...:-S....its so much fun and my friends p, m and a are so lovely and have helped me both patch and knit! we are going on a girls day out at the end of the month to knit, drink and look at art, cant wait girlies! thanks for all your help, and for your support too with everything that has gone on, and for the saucy website links, who would have thought knitting coudl be so rude!
4. bum. i need to go and get my bus so more tomorrow!

if i lived a little closer than another nation away, then i would come to your denim and venom group! sounds ace, i'm jealous. i suggested getting one started at one of the schools where i work. i got mildly strange looks. boo. if you were all to transfer to italy then i could join in and you could all come visit the huge fabric shop paradise on a regular basis! there you go, an offer you can't refuse!!! lovely to read your update and to hear of all the fun!
